ASTM A307
The ASTM A307 specification covers carbon steel bolts and studs ranging from 1/4" through 4" diameter. They are made often manufactured using A36 steel. Grade B is commonly used for pipe flanges. There was a third grade, Grade C, that is now replaced by F1554 Grade 36.
