Blind Rivet

A fastening system consisting of a tubular part with some sort of head and a mandrel that goes through the center. The mandrel is designed in such a way that it expands the end opposite of the head of the tubular rivet then snaps off. The advantage of these is that you only need access to one side of the material to fasten, hence why they are called blind rivets.

(S): Mandrel Material: A = Aluminum, S = Steel, SS = Stainless

(6): Rivet Diameter: The Numerator(Top) of the Fraction in 32nds of an inch (6 = 6/32 = 3/16)

(4): Max Grip Range*: The Numerator(Top) of the Fraction in 16ths of an inch (4 = 4/16 = 1/4)

(L): Large Flange: L = Large Flange (left off if not large flange)

*Grip Range = The minimum and maximum thickness that a rivet can fasten.
