Chrome Plating

Typically applied with a copper or nickel undercoating. Has good corrosion resistance, however is used mostly as a decorative finish. Has a relatively hard surface compared to zinc, nickel, or silver.

Application: Decorative applications, especially automotive. Some other specific applications.

Appearance: Bright, lustrous silver.
