Director of Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and implements department goals, objectives, and systems
• Manages and directs warehouse operations and personnel including: Receiving, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Management, Packing, Shipping, and Returns
• Leads, trains, and develops team associates in accordance with Packer Fastener Swagger and career development plans
• Regularly evaluates the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives; suggests and applies continual improvements
• Manages inbound shipments, outbound shipments, and overnight transfer of product
• Directs the DC safety program for the assigned shift to ensure the safety of all within the workplace.
• Monitors customer service issues, error rates, overtime hours, and other key metrics
• Participates as active member of the Senior Leadership Team; including annual strategic planning (company and department), weekly meetings, and as-needed committee work

Job Qualifications
• Associates Degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience as Director or Manager of Operations or equivalent position
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Demonstrates an ability to act in partnership with leadership team
• Analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions
• Basic math skills- addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Able to lift 50lbs repetitively and stand for extended periods of time
